Letter from Steve Gladstone, Cal Crew Director:
Dear Friends:
This is truly a watershed moment in Cal Crew history, and marks the end of an effort which began over 15 years ago to revitalize the Cal rowing program and ensure its future. That effort has established an endowment fund, obtained first-rate coaching, equipment, support for our student athletes, and finally, Cal Crew now rows out of the finest boathouse in America, the T. Gary Rogers Rowing Center. On behalf of all the coaches and student athletes, I would like to extend our thanks to the over 500 donors who have made this possible. I hope to see you all on Alumni Day, March 18, 2006, and at the races this Spring!
