Letter from Steve Gladstone, Cal Crew Director:
Dear Alumni, Family, and Friends,
The preparation for the duel race in Seattle is now complete. I feel confident that our athletes are well prepared for the races this Saturday. As always, the Washington Crews present a great challenge. At the time of this writing, the National Polls have Harvard ranked 1st, Cal 2nd, and Washington 3rd. Of course, the polls mean absolutely nothing, ultimately the finish at the IRA in Camden will tell the real story.
Again, I want to thank all of you for your ongoing support. There's no question that it's essential to the prosperity of our program.
Looking forward briefly, the schedule for the Big Row is not finalized, however, the first race will begin at 5:30pm and the last race no later than 6:30pm.
